NAVAL STATION GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba - Outgoing Joint Detention Group Commander, Army Col. Stephen E. Gabavics, hands off the JDG guideon to Joint Task Force Guantanamo Commander, Navy Rear Adm. John C. Ring, during a change of command ceremony at the Naval Station Chapel, June 27. The passing of the guideon signifies a relinquishment of duties, thus giving Ring the honor of presenting the JDG guideon and responsibilities to incoming JDG Commander, Army Col. Steven G. Yamashita.
